Özet (EN)

This thesis examines how Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky addresses the concept of justice in his works. In the author's world, justice represents not only a legal order but also a profound field of inquiry intertwined with conscience, free will, morality, and belief in God. In this study, key works such as Memoirs from the House of the Dead, Notes from Underground, Crime and Punishment, and The Brothers Karamazov were comparatively evaluated in terms of their content and thought structure. The analysis reveals that Dostoyevsky defines justice beyond an external understanding of sanctions, but rather within the context of an individual's internal reckoning, feelings of guilt, and quest for redemption. The moral and philosophical inquiries the author constructs through his characters elevate justice from a mere social norm to an individual and metaphysical issue. This study aims to explore Dostoyevsky's multidimensional understanding of justice and thus offer significant literary and philosophical contributions to contemporary discussions of justice. In this respect, the research deepens the interaction between literature and philosophy, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of the concept of justice.
