Abstract (EN)

In the 20th century, Free zone processes has become a concept that is frequently encountered both in the world and Turkey and has become an important tool in the development of international trade and in the global economic integration. The countries which are on the progress use various policies and instruments to increase trade volume. In this context, free zones have become one of the supportive practices of many countries in the area of foreign trade. Founded variety of purposes in different types of free zones in both national and international level is seen economic impacts. In the study, free zone applications in developed economies such as Britain, Germany and France have been taken into consideration as far as developing aconomies such as Egypt, Iran, Chile. Foreign trade and free zones in accordance with the mentioned purposes: the first party of the Bursa application is working in general practice in foreign trade; in the second part, the free zone process are mentioned in Turkey and in the world. In the last chapter, according to selected criteria it is aimed to study the experience of Turkey's free zones and special process in Bursa Free Zone. In the last chapter examined the economic performance of all Free zones in Turkey and specifically Bursa Free Zone in Turkey's economic performance and statistical data were analyzed using the accompanying tables and graphs. As a result of the analyzes made, it was found that there are differences in economic efficiency among the free zones, but it is determined that the areas with specialization are more active and promising
