The analysis of Dumlupinar Universty thermal water and comporison of ts result with other thermal waters in Kütahya

There are a lot of thermal springs in the city of Kütahya. Today, the use of natural cure methods become widespread. Because of that, the thermal springs gain importance. It has known for centuries that the thermal springs are curative for a lot of diseases like rheumatismal diseases, skin diseases, neural diseases, etc.Thermal spring water was found in Geven-1 Well which was digged in Ilıcapınar site at Dumlupınar Üniversity Campus. Some analyses were done on this thermal spring in terms of its physical and chemical features. According to the results of these analyses, this thermal spring water is expected to be a cure for several diseases.In this study, Dumlupınar University Thermal is compared with the other examined thermal springs.Key Words : Analysis, Healing Water, Thermal Springs.
