Dursun Ahmed Nâtıkî's Divan text-examination

In our study, we examined the Ahmet Dursun Natıki's Divan whose real name is Ahmet Dursun (Effendi), Natık or who writes his poems with the pen name which is Natıki. This number of the literary work we have examined is registered in library of Istanbul University with the number 1225. Poems collected their poems, of which they had written in different times of their lives, in a single book and they called this ''Divan''. Gazelles, encomiums and chronicles which were written dedicating to events of the period forms the poems that will constitutes the Divan. The poet wished to create his own Divan and have his own place in the literature. This thesis is prepared in order to both bring a light to the poets who left dewan to Classical Turkish Literature and latinize the poems. The examination part of Natıki Divan is written with the font of Times New Roman, and the text part of it is written by Minion Pro. There has been 3 theses on the Divan numbers of which are registered to Natıki. These theses' numbers are registered in Yapı Kredi Sermet Çifter Library with the numbers of 825 and 963. The first study toke place in 2004 and the second study toke place in the year of 2006. We've seen that this Natıki thesis that we've studied on is not the same with the previous theses. The possesor of the Divan that we've prepared is Ahmet Dursun Effendi. In the Divan, his name and his pen name was inticated as; İsm-i Aḥmet Nāṭıḳí maḫlaṣ aña Bāḳí Dursun ol laḳab lāzım saña Our study consists of 2 parts. Natıki's life, his lliterary identity and his works take place in the first part. Natıki's Divan's text with its transcription takes place in the second part.
