Abstract (EN)
In the dissimilar metal welding solid state welding methods are generally used. Today technology, welding of dissimilar metals is also carried out by the shielded metal arc and TIG and MIG welding methods. These methods are chosen depending on needs on production and conditions and by considering welding cost. First of all, micro structural properties of all the materials which need welding process were investigated. In order to determine appropriateness of materials, their standards were determined by spectrometer. In this study, electrolytic copper and low carbon steel materials were welded to each other by shielded metal arc, TIG and MIG welding methods. Preceding and ending of welding process, the hardness properties of materials were taken and the faults that occurred during the weld were controlled by ultrasonic methods. At the same time, tensile, bending and impact test of welded materials were investigated and joints were analyzed. All the destructed and without destructed test results show that dissimilar metal welding are welded by shielded metal arc, TIG and MIG welded methods appropriately and economically. As a result we can say that the most appropriate and economical welding methods were determined in this study.
