Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of CrossFit training on some performance parameters applied to individuals who exercise regularly. 203 male volunteers participated in the study as follows: Xage=25.5±2.06 years, Xheight= 177.390.07 cm and Xweight=72.527.24 kg. Body compositions of the evides the physical performance parameters with the bio-impedance device were evaluated by push-up, sit-up, chin-up, line-drill and 1500 m running tests.Participants were subjected to a high-intensity interval program, which is called the strengthdevelopment program, skill development program and metabolic condition program, which are the three main components of the CrossFit training, three days a week for two months.Performance measurements were made before and after a two months period and cases were evaluated. The differences between the test and the last test were determined by t-test from parametric tests, Wilcoxon test from non-parametric tests. Kruskal-Wallis test was used for non-parametric tests among age groups and difference variables. Following the Kruskal-Wallis test evaluations, the Tukey test was performed on post-hoc (binary comparison) tests to show which group the difference originated from. According to the findings of the study, there is a statistically significant difference between body weight, body mass index, push-up, shuttle, chin-up, agility run and 1500 m pre-test and post-test values. There was no significant difference between the two variables in the results of Kruskal-Wallis test between age groups and body weight, body mass index, push-up and sit-up (p> 0.05) difference variants. Kruskal-Wallis test was performed between age groups and bar- There was a significant difference between the two variables in the Wallis test (p<0.05). In conclusion, it was determined that CrossFit exercises applied for 2 months had a positive effect on the development of performance levels of healthy male subjects.
