Abstract (EN)
In this study, a numerical approach to elastic stress solutions of hollow discs made of functionally graded materials (FDM) subjected to linear increasing temperature distribution is introduced. It is assumed that the modulus of elasticity and coefficient of thermal expansion of the FDM disk vary in the radial direction in different ways, and also the Poisson ratio is assumed to be constant. It causes the differential equation governing the behavior of the body under different material properties and boundary conditions to be an equation with variable coefficients. Except for some simple-order materials and boundary conditions, it is unlikely to produce an analytical solution of such equations. In this case, the solution of the problems can only be found by numerical approaches. Complementary Functions Method (TFM) was used to solve the problem. Different material models from the written works were used and the corresponding radial, tangential and equivalent stresses and radial displacements were calculated. Simple, effective and well-structured solution steps for disks can be easily implemented.
