Synthesis of 2-(E)- ((substituebenzylidene)amino)-3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydro-1H-4,7-epoxyisoindole-1,3(2H)-dione and spectroscopic investigation of thei̇r structures

In this study, the bicyclo compounds were synthesized by reaction of maleic anhydride with furan as starting materials. By interacting this compound with hydrazine hydrate, the imine compound containing the N-amino group was synthesized. Schiff base compounds were synthesized with the substituted benzaldehyde derivatives of the obtained N-amino imid compounds. The structures of these compounds were elucidated using spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, 1H, 13C-APT, HETCOR, NOESY, COSY NMR and LC-MS).
