Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was investigated heavy metal pollutıon that emitted from traffic in the soils of the E-80 International Hıghway line between Gürbulak Boarder Entrance and Erzurum. The soil samples were taken from 15 different locations selected at distances of 0, 10, and 20 meter away from highway and at a depth of 5 centimeter. After the necessary process the concentrations of the elements of (B, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Cd, Sb, Ba, Au, Hg, and Pb) in the soil samples collected were determined by using ICP – MS (Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry). Data obtained for each location was compared based on traffic density and environmental conditions and it was investigated whether or not pollution above acceptable limits for the heavy metals.
