Abstract (EN)

In the ever-changing and evolving world of technology, it is clear that there are many innovations that affect human life and habits. E-commerce is one such innovation that has influenced the habits of consumers. Due to the opportunities and conveniences it offers, e-commerce websites have become an important part of consumer life. In this context, the user interface (UI) design, user experience (UX) design, site functionality, and visual impact of an e-commerce website are crucial components for creating an effective interaction with consumers; however, considering these components alongside consumers' perceptions and behaviours plays a critical role in the usability and sustainability of e-commerce website interface design. In this study, demographic variables including participants' gender, age, education level, and income status were analysed using descriptive statistical methods within the scope of quantitative research to examine their perceptions and behaviours regarding e-commerce interface design. The subject headings were examined through a literature review, the data was analysed based on a survey conducted with 113 participants, and an alternative e-commerce interface design was prepared for Company X in accordance with the design principles and elements. Keywords: E-commerce Website Design, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), Consumer Behaviour, Web Interface Design
