Review and evaluation of bed'a concept in the religious juristiction studies of abu al-hasenat abdulhayy bin muhammad Abdulhalim Bin Emînillah al-Leknawî

Sheikh Laknawî had came to surface as one of the prominent 19th century scholars due to his endavour in multiple scholary disciplines. It is worth pointing out that it is a sad case to have rare studies about imam Abdalhay Laknawî, inspite of his profound scientific personality and his contemporary inspirations. This missing aspect of Imam Abdalhay Laknawî has led us to research about him and to bring some of his views to light. Despite the fact that the number of the books, most porminently in the field of fiqh, and also in the hadith, kalam, arabic language and logic, that were compiled by the imam were in dispute, he is known to have published at least more than 100 pieces. Since these works were not translated or were not satisfactorily worked on, we are even more motivated to work on the discovery of some relevant information from his studies. Although Imam Abdalhay Laknawî is well known mostly for his contributions in the field of Hanefi class of religious juristiction all over the world, he is only known with his hadith background in our country. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a research on his works written in the filed of religious juristiction in order get the most out of his 50 books around this particular topic. It is also evident that he was a scholar who well deserves to be mentioned in a scholary literature. While such information and facts are considered, the research around Laknawî's literature should be encouraged and cherished. Another important point to mention is that the amount of art and scholary material in just thirty-nine-year relatively short life triggers immense curiosity.
