Prayer according to Ebu Mansur al-Maturidi

In this study, Imam Maturidi aims to give an idea of what prayer is, its place in human life, its importance in the sight of Allah, what prayer brings to the servant and the possibility of communication between the servant and Allah. It can be said that in Maturidi's kalam system Decrees that there is a direct relationship between prayer and monotheism. However, we chose Maturidi's view of prayer as the subject of his master's thesis. Our study consists of an introduction, three main sections and a conclusion. In the first of these three sections, Imam Maturidi's life, name, dog tag, family, death, teachers and students; in the second part, the conceptual framework of prayer is discussed, and in the third part, according to Abu Mansur al-Maturidi, the understanding of prayer, the importance and necessity of prayer for man, its value and value in the sight of Allah, the relationship between prayer and fate, the relationship of prayer with faith, tawhid, submission, trust and words are discussed.
