Abstract (EN)

The tariqas, which are the institutionalized form of tasawwuf, have been active in the world of Islam from the sixth century after hijrah. The tariqa of Naqshibandiyyah is especially notable with the individuals it has brought up and their influence on Islamic societies. To this day, many works were written about its shaykhs, its manners and its methods. The Risala al-Naqshibandiyyah by Shaykh Abu Saîd Muhammad Hâdimî, one of the 18th century Ottoman scholars, is one of them. In this study, the Risala al-Naqshibandiyyah is presented, translated and verified along with the interpretation by Kösec Ahmed-i Trabzonî. The life and the works of the author, whose scholarly competence was confirmed by being summoned to lectures held in the sultan's audience, are mentioned in the first section. The second section tells about the life and the works of the interpreter of the aforementioned work, Kösec Ahmed-i Trabzonî. The introductions and translations of the Saîd works are included in the third section. Both works are verified in the fourth section, by making copy comparisons, adding citations of ayahs and hadiths and giving additional information in the footnotes where necessary. Thus both works are rendered more accesible for the purposes of research on today's Tasawwuf and Naqshibandiyyah. Keywords: Abu Saîd Muhammad Hâdimî, Risala al-Naqshibandiyyah, Köseç Ahmed-i Trabzonî, Naqshibandiyyah
