Reflection of literary works to visual art: The comparison of Bertolt Brecht "Mr. Puntila And His Servant Matti" and Kemal Sunal "The Largest Lord" film

Cinema has the power to take part in the society with its artistic quality and to address the society. The fact that cinema is a visual art means that it is capable of addressing every culture and class. Even the simplest case of literary work is no comparison to the class of cinema, even when it is compared with the ability to read and write. Thus, it is able to leave deeper traces on every person, person/ people from every language. The transfer of the literary works to the big screen has echoed both in cinema and literature. One of the most fundamental differences between literary work and cinema is the language they use. In the simplest terms; literature tells, cinema shows. There is an image in the essence of cinema and there are words in the literary work. Cinema from the moment it was established, because of the high capacity to take everything into the source has always been hungry. That is why most of them are Hollywood directors, but many of the filmmakers have aimed to make a movie as a visual film in the cinema sector by processing the bestselling literary works. In this study, the reflection of the literary work on visual art was chosen. By this context, Bertolt Brecht's Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti and the Greatest Saban the work of Kartal Tibet were evaluated. In both of the works, common themes were mentioned and differences of social positions were pointed out. Bertolt Brecht's life and the political and global perspectives were examined and his work Mr. Puntila and his Servant Matti was written in detail Kemal Sunal's artist personality has been examined in the movie "The Greatest Saban" directed by Kartal Tibet and starring Kemal Sunal.As Kemal Sunal's adaptation of the film "City Lights", directed by Charlie Chaplin and directed by the Hollywood movie "City Lights," Kemal Sunal, Charlie Chaplin has touched upon his artist personality, examining the similarities between the two films. Kemal Sunal's character "Şaban"s and Charlie Chaplin's character "Sharlo" s similarities have been examined within the framework of the works and works they offer, the interactions of these three big names with each other and their intimacy are discussed.
