Abstract (EN)

Literary tourism is the practice of visiting cities and places related to literary works and their authors. Literary tourism, which combines literature with travel and cultural experiences, is by no means a new phenomenon and has been practiced for several centuries. Interest in travel to see and experience places associated with writers and poets or literary works increased in the 19th century. Literary tourism enables tourists to feel the local culture in depth, while at the same time increasing their knowledge of the author and literature. Literary tourism both contributes to the sustainability of tourism and plays an important role in the preservation of cultural heritage. The aim of our study is to examine the publications made between 2000 and 2022 in Turkey in the field of literary tourism through scanning and content analysis, to determine the growth, trends and results of the studies in the relevant field in our country and to reveal the general status of the studies. Identified studies has been analysed according to certain bibliometric parameters such as publication years, authors, publication titles, publication places, publication languages, publication types, subjects, aims, methods and results. Similarities, differences and generalizations have been tried to be shown about the studies according to the determined variables and various detections have been stated.
