Today, developments in communication technologies continue at a dizzying pace in theese days. And this speed makes it necessary for the human being, who is trying to keep up with it, to constantly update itself. The world has become a "global village" in the words of Marshall McLuhan, and developments in communication technologies have made the world much more accessible and accessible. Digital literacy is very important now. Digital media has taken the place of traditional media in many ways and even succeeded in getting ahead of it in many areas. With the decentralized digital media, which offers unlimited access to information and makes it possible to reach much more people than traditional media, digital storytelling has also come to the fore, and digital stories, which have been used in many areas, have started to attract attention as a new type of the new global world Of course, storytelling is as old as human history. Mankind, trying to find a meaning for the world and existence, has created it himself through stories, recreated the meaning in every story and has turned the earth, which seems to him full of terrible pain, into a meaningful space. Myths and epics, which find their counterparts in verbal culture, are the best examples of these. Today, with the stage that humanity has reached, the tradition of storytelling has also moved to the digital dimension and has begun to reproduce itself. In this study, we will touch on the differences between the stories that are circulated in the digital environment and the classical stories, what kind of components the digitalized story has, in which areas it is used, the works done in this field in Turkey, and the works produced in this genre in Turkey with a few examples from the digital environment to the printing press.
