This concept is directly related to quality improvement projects and the improvement of the urban environment, where pedestrian zones are convenient and easily accessible without interfering barriers, as well as open spaces for recreation, and well-developed cultural places, have become the main priorities in the design. The adoption of the new term "Urban Heritage" has fundamentally changed the appearance of cities, turning them into huge open-air museums.
