Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is primarily to analyze how temperature and rainfall, the two main factors that help us to understand climate and climate variability, oscillate and change over the specified period of time, and the development and frequency of variability at stations located on the shores of the Aegean region. Daily and monthly maximum and minimum temperature data from selected stations and monthly total rainfall data were used. The distribution of the data was determined by the Shapiro Wilk test. RH test was performed to determine the homogeneity of the data found to be non-conforming to the normal distribution. The nonparametric Mann Kendall and Sen Trend test method was used to determine the trend over time and the trend of monthly maximum temperature, minimum temperature and total rainfall data was determined. In addition, 16 of the 27 climate indices determined by WMO and CLIVAR were applied to daily maximum and minimum temperature data and the trends of extreme values were determined. Trend analysis was done with Climpact, an R and R-based software. The results of the analysis mapped in ArcMap 10.7 program. According to the results of the analysis, April and February months in monthly maximum temperatures and March, May, June, July and November warming in monthly minimum temperatures increases significantly. August and September have seen an increase in both maximum and minimum temperatures. Monthly precipitation data are variable and increases in monthly maximum temperatures are likely to have triggered elevation rainfall in May and June. June July August rainfall decreases in some stations, but this decrease with increasing temperatures, hydrologically and agrarian water deficit may trigger. In the indices formed by calculation of daily data, warm nights, warm days, summer days, tropical nights, montly maximumum of daily maximum temperature, montly maximumum of daily minimum temperature warm spell duration, increases, however, cool nights, cool days, frost days, cold spell duration, diurnal temperature range tends to decrease. In spite of these increasing temperatures, it has become necessary to take into consideration the adaptation process together with the struggle against the processes that cause change for the sustainability of the natural environment and human life.
