Abstract (EN)

In our study, the leadership qualities of managers in educational institutions have been selected and studied as a factor affecting the organizational commitment of teachers working in the education sector, which is socially important. The study of the conceptual framework of our work consists of the presentation of the studies in the literature and the interpretation of the data obtained by the application. In this sense, firstly we tried to explain the contribution that we can make in the first chapter and the contribution that can be made to the literature. In the second part, leadership styles and theories explained in the context of leadership concept, definition and characteristics are discussed in terms of putting out the conceptual framework. Then the concept of organizational commitment was examined. Factors affecting organizational commitment and organizational commitment classifications were examined. Finally, the relationship between leadership and organizational commitment has been established and the effect of organizational commitment in education has been explained. In the third part, the effects of the relationship between organizational commitment and leadership qualities explained in detail in the second part are analyzed by analyzing the data of the questionnaire applied and the results are obtained and the effects of leadership qualities on teachers' organizational commitment have been revealed
