Literary of educationalist poet Betul Tarıman and her own education concept in her works

Betül Tarıman, one of the poets and story writers of the new generation, has worked as a teacher in most of the cities of Anatolia and carried on her work in Antalya as a history teacher currently. In the first part of the study which is prepared by starting out to present poet who has come to the fore with her literature works in the cities where she has worked, and has been granted literature prizes with her works as an educator, who aims to bring up generations having cultural, social and ethic merits, statement of problem, purpose and significance of the study, assumption and limitations were dealt. In the second part of the study literature review and conceptual framework were handled. While method was examined in the third part of the study, in the fourth part, the artist's point of view to education was attempted to be determined in general terms through her works and views. The inclusion of this study consisting of five sections, together with result, discussion and suggestions was limited to search how her being an educator, was reflected to her literay life and her works which had been published up to now. Betül Tarıman's works, written from her early educational life to nowadays; her communication with the students; her works intended to educate the community; her education perspective as an artificer; and as an educator, her contributions to the education were part of the study. This study which was prepared with the idea that each student, each city where has been worked, each life which an educator knows, supply resources for a literature product, is critically important in that it explains educators, poets and artists' contributions to education and art. This study was used with the methods of interview, archives lining, document analysis and analysis of works. In accordance with these methods, it was analysed that how Betül Tarıman's educator personality reflected to her works and how she discussed elements of education in her poems and stories.
