Ecological system theory development of a basic school safety measurement

The aim of this study was to devlelop a scale of school security in the base of Bronfenbronner's Ecological System Theory. Ecological System Theory is composed of Organism, Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem and Kronosystem layers. In the study, a draft scale consisting of 113 items of these six dimensions was first prepared. The draft scale was presented to five experts and the number of items in the measure was reduced to 101. The 101-point scale was applied to 544 teachers working at the primary, secondary and high schools. The data were analyzed with SPSS 22 packet views. An Exploratory Factor Analysis was conducted to investigate the validity of the 101-item inventory structure. The Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin (KMO) coefficient was found to be 899. The results of the Barlett sphericity test showed that data fit the factor analysis of the scale. For the computational power of pressure in the inventory, you will notice a 27% subgroup and a 27% upper group average. The results obtained indicated that the values of the items were meaningful. The results of the item analysis were consistent with the overall structure of item loads, item total correlation between 351 and 712. The first analysis results of the exploratory factor analysis indicated 19 factor structures. In the last factor analysis, 40 items were removed from the scale. Inventory structure with 61 items and 12 factors was obtained. The factor loadings of the inventory vary between 574 and 899. Cronbach's Alpha reliability is 967.
