Abstract (EN)

This thesis examines the role of SMEs in economic development from the perspective of entrepreneurship and business development, focusing on the applicability of SWARA and EDAS methods in evaluating composite materials used in kitchenware. Emphasizing the critical position of SMEs as the engine of economic growth, the study suggests that innovative raw material selections and business development strategies can further empower these enterprises. The SWARA and EDAS methods, based on fuzzy set theory, are applied as decision-support tools for material selection in the composite sector, providing strategic insights tailored to the industry. In this context, the research aims to highlight the contributions of material selection processes that bolster competitive advantage within SMEs, ultimately supporting the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
