Abstract (EN)

This study is an attempt to probe one of the modern linguistic theories, which is the This study examines one of the modern linguistic theories, the "theory of tadawuliyya," in the context of Abūsūsūd al-Imādī's (v. 982) tafsīr Irshād al-ʿaql al-ṣalīm and aims to examine the similarities and differences of the theory of tadawuliyya with various linguistic issues in the Islamic Arabic tradition. It also draws attention to the practices of our scholars in reading the Qur'an in the context of the aforementioned theory and the tools required for this practice. The study consists of an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion. In the first chapter, the subject of the study, Irshād al-ʿaql al-ṣalīm, its author, and the theory of tāwāliyya are discussed. The second chapter discusses the verbal verb theory of the similarities between Western languages and Arabic and gives examples from Abūsūsūd's tafsīr. The third chapter focuses on the way this topic is discussed in Abūsūsūd's tafsīr, its tools and proofs. The fourth and final chapter is devoted to the dimensions and concepts of the modern concept of tedāwuliyya and the identification of its similarities and differences with Arabic rhetoric and grammar in the Islamic tradition and the author's treatment of it.
