Abstract (EN)
Ferâiz is the name given to the law of inheritance, which is one of the sub-branches of Islamic law. Ferâiz -nâme is the general name of the works written on the law of inheritance. These works, which give extensive information about the distribution of the goods and rights left behind by the deceased person among the heirs within the framework of certain rules, are important in terms of being a guide in the regulation of the social and economic life of human. One of the most famous books written on the science of is es-Siraciyye by Hanefi jurist es-Secavendî. In this study, el-Ferâʾizuʾl-Vâfîye from the work of Secavendî by Hâcib-zâde Mehmed b. Mustafa İstanbûlî. In this study, which was prepared on the basis of the copy of the work registered in the National Library, Çankırı Provincial Public Library Collection, number 18 Hk 140/4, the transcription of the text was given, language analysis and dictionary were made. Thus, it is aimed both to contribute to the history of inheritance law and to reveal a text beloning to the 18th century Ottoman Turkish, to text and to give its dictionary and language features.
