Abstract (EN)

The Al-Munadi newspaper published in Arabic in Jerusalem in the early 20th century is one of the tens of newspapers published since the Second Constitutional Period in the region. Throughout its broadcast life, the newspaper shed light on the developments in politics, governance, education, economy and social life in Palestine, especially in Jerusalem. What makes the newspaper different from the others is its perspective on Zionism and Jewish Immigration to Palestine, which was one of the important issues of the period, and its reformist and critical approaches to social developments and events. The fact that Al-Munadi was one of the most popular newspapers in and around Jerusalem and that articles were sent to this newspaper from different regions show that it was a reliable newspaper to a large extent. In this study, information was given about the developments and events in the region at that time and the perspectives on these developments and events were examined. For this purpose, 38 issues of the Al-Munadi newspaper in total were examined.
