Kur'an-i Kerim'de konu bütünlüğü: Eleştirel analitik bir çalışma

This study delves into the critical issue of thematic unity in the Qur'an, a contemporary topic of paramount importance in Qur'anic studies. The significance of this research stems from various factors, including Orientalist claims regarding the lack of unity and coherence in the Qur'anic chapters, as well as the efforts of some scholars in the 14th century AH to introduce novel methodologies for studying the Qur'an and its chapters. A surge of Qur'anic interpretations and studies has emerged, attempting to establish thematic unity in the Qur'an and its chapters. While considerable attention has been devoted to thematic unity on the practical level, this issue has not received adequate attention on the foundational and conceptual level. This disparity has resulted in a diversity of opinions among scholars regarding the meaning of thematic unity and the methodology for uncovering it. Some scholars perceive thematic unity as coherence and interconnectedness, while others view it as the existence of a central theme or purpose that grants the chapter its unity. This conceptual divergence has led to differences in the methodological steps employed to unveil thematic unity in Qur'anic chapters. It has also prompted some researchers to attribute the concept of thematic unity to a number of scholars from the early Islamic centuries, starting from the fifth century AH, while others have refuted this attribution due to differing conceptualizations of thematic unity. The significance of this study lies in its attempt to contribute to strengthening the foundational and conceptual basis of thematic unity. This endeavor aims to refine and regulate the conceptual and practical scope of thematic unity in Qur'anic studies, leading to advancements in this field.
