The effect of different liquid fertilizer applications on Narcissus flower (Narcissus spp.) grown under field conditions in Elazığ province

Narcissus (Narcissus ssp.) is a bulbous ornamental plant belonging to the Amaryllidaceae (Daffodils) family. In addition to being used as a cut flower, it is also used as a potted plant in parks and gardens and indoors. In the research; It was aimed to determine the effects of six types of organic based liquid fertilizers (Organic+mineral liquid fertilizer-I, Organic liquid fertilizer-II, Hazelnut vinegar, Chicken vinegar, Commercial liquid fertilizer, Humic acid) on two different daffodil varieties (Sempre Avanti and Barret Browning). For this purpose, the development of the plant was examined using the parameters of full flowering time, flower height, inner flower width, flower diameter, total flower length, number of leaves, leaf width and leaf length as a result of the experiment created by the three-repetitive simple random experiment method under field conditions in Elazığ province. As a result of the study, significant differences were observed in the parameters examined in both daffodil varieties, depending on the fertilizer used (p <0.05). For the Semper Avanti variety, organic liquid fertilizer-II in terms of full flowering time, flower height, inner flower width, flower diameter, total flower length and leaf length parameters, commercial liquid fertilizer in the number of leaves parameter, and chicken vinegar in the leaf width parameter have more positive results than other fertilizer types. gave. In the Barret Browning variety, organic liquid fertilizer-II in the parameters of full flowering time, inner flower width, flower diameter, total flower length, organic + mineral liquid fertilizer-I in the flower length parameter, commercial liquid fertilizer in the number of leaves and leaf width parameters and humic in the leaf length parameter. More positive results were achieved in acid applications. In all parcels where application is made; It is thought that liquid fertilizer applications for soil micro and macro fauna are effective on the development of ornamental plants, but these values may vary depending on dosage and application periods. In addition, considering the close contact of people with ornamental plants, it is emphasized that the use of organic fertilizers should be preferred.
