Abstract (EN)
Mining works are one of the main forms of land use that disrupt the natural balance of the environment, cause pollution and also endanger the lives of living things. The phytoremediation method is a biological method using hyperacumulatory plants to clean areas contaminated by heavy metals. Hyperacumulator plants can accumulate large amounts of metals in their tissues without showing any signs of toxicity. The aim of our study is to determine the hyperaccumulatory features by examining the heavy metal concentrations of Anchusa leptophylla subsp. tomentosa (Boiss.) D.F.Chamb., Alyssum pateri subsp. pateri Nyár., Erysimum uncinatifolium Boiss., Glaucium acutidentatum Hausskn. & Bornm. collected from Elazığ (Maden) mine area and Arum hygrophilum subsp. euxinum (R.R.Mill) Alpınar, Eremogone ledebouriana (Fenzl) Ikonn., Convolvulus assyricus Griseb., Verbascum ponticum (Boiss.) Kuntze species collected from Amasya (Gümüşhacıköy) mine site. The species were harvested in 2018 when they were the most mature between May and October, and the amounts of heavy metal accumulation in their root, stem and leaves were determined by ICP-OES. In our study; It was concluded that A.leptophylla has an accumalitive feature for Co, Ni and Fe. Also the same feature can be observed between A.pateria with Mn and E, E. uncinatifolium with Cd and Ni, A. hygrophilum with Zn, C. assyricus with Fe and V. ponticum with Zn.
