Özet (TR)

Today, with the developing technology, the energy need and demand are increasing day by day. Economic and environmental damages caused by the excessive use of non-renewable energy resources and the pollution of fossil fuels have increased the tendency toward sustainable energy needs and renewable energy sources, which are clean energy sources to meet the increasing energy demand. In recent years, various studies have been conducted in the literature in recent years on hydraulic energy, which is widely used in terms of energy generation among renewable energy sources. In the current studies, they most examined the outputs experimentally or numerically by changing values such as blade angle, number of blades, blade length, fluid inlet angle, etc. In this study 2-D analyzes of modified turbine models were carried out by making improvements in the outer body of a horizontal axis pico water turbine that converts flow energy into electrical energy. Then, among the modified models, the turbine with the most efficient performance was determined, and the performance of the modified model was examined experimentally by producing it with the additive manufacturing method. As a result of the study, with the changes made to the turbine, a more efficient model was obtained than the original model.
