Abstract (EN)
Many different problems are occurred due to the increasing numbers of person using the transportation sector. The important of these problems are the rapid consumption of fossil fuels on earth and environmental pollution occurred transportation. Electric vehicles are preferred in order to eliminate the harmful gases emitted to the environment, to reduce fossil fuel consumption and to eliminate a few reasons that cause air pollution. In the 1930s, internal combustion engine vehicles were preferred instead of electric vehicles, so the electric vehicles were not used for a long time. Because electric vehicles could not meet user requests. However, due to the high efficiency of electrical machines and developments in battery technology, it can meet the demands of the user. For this reason, electric vehicles are decidedly entering the market. The problems for electric vehicles is the total range and battery charge time. In this thesis, a study has been conducted to increase the total range. The total range of the electric vehicle is inversely proportional to the vehicle weight. In order to reduce the weight of a single-motor electric vehicle, the mechanical differential is removed and created mathematically model of it.With the help of this mathematical model, it has been tried to perform the task of mechanical differential by two electric motors. Initially, after the system was controlled in MATLAB / Simulink, it is observed that the system stably operates.
