Abstract (EN)
Efforts to increase efficiency in conventional waste water treatment systems in the World are continuing in a lot of regions of the World. The main purpose of these studies is to establish better treatment systems in terms of economy, time and overall efficiency. Studies in the literature have shown that electrochemical methods are one of the efficient, effective and reasonable methods in the studies on wastewater treatment systems. In this study, it is shown by comparing how efficient COD removal can be done by using electrochemical methods at various current intensities, using various amounts of support electrolyte, at various initial concentrations and finally by using electrophenton process from the model wastewater formed to contain Fosetyl-Al fungicide. Today, the growing population increases the need for food and directs people to the use of pesticides. Increasing use of pesticides in the form of leakage into the soil and water, threatening the health of living things. Therefore, the removal of these pesticides from water has become a necessity. Finally, the energy consumption of this system for wastewater treatment was also calculated. The results of the study show that optimum conditions are obtained in combination of electrophenton method by applying Sodium Sulphate (Na2SO4) support electrolyte and Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). In these conditions, 91.2% COD removal was determined. It is envisaged that the application can be applied to pilot plant scales in wastewater treatment and will provide very good time and cost savings compared to traditional methods.
