Electrolitic zinc plating and effect of the effects of process

This study was carried out with the potassium chloride zinc plating bath in thepresence of the poly ethylen gylicol and gelatin as carrier and brightener. The bathparameters were operated with Hull Cell experiments. Operating parameters wereconcentration of potassium chloride, zinc chloride, boric acid and brightener, pH,temperature, cell current. To understand the effect of this parameters thermal shock testand corrosion test were made. These tests were made to the specimens which were coatedwith the commercial carrier and brightener and the results were compared. Throwingpower and current efficiency were measured at different cell currents.
