Abstract (EN)

Pratical studies show that, when an antenna is designed using the relevant design equations, the obtained center frequency may be slightly different than the aimed center frequency. This problem is solved by making small changes in the physical parameters that affect the center frequency of the antenna. In other words, a size adjustment is made manually. Within the scope of this study, this process was automated with a graphical user interface software written in Python programming language. The software makes a design according to the entered antenna parameters, then optimizes the values of the antenna dimensions by repeating electromagnetic simulation of the antenna in a loop. Three different algorithms are used for the optimization of antenna sizes: step-by-step optimization algorithm, prediction optimization algorithm and fast prediction optimization algorithm. The step-by-step optimization algorithm reaches the result by moving the relevant parameter back and forth, while the prediction and fast prediction optimization types use machine learning algorithms. The finite difference time domain method, which is a numerical method, is used for performing electromagnetic simulations. The electromagnetic simulation engine is also packed as graphical user interface software as a second contribution to the literature.
