Electroshock heating system application and compare to boiler, central heating boiler system

There is no doubt that one of the most significant needs, consumption of which is increasing rapidly in our time and will continue to increase in the future as well is energy. About 90% of demand for commercial energy of the world is met by fossil fuels; the rest, however, is met by hydrolic and nuclear energy in the present time. More important contribution is still being anticipated from renewable energy resources except hydrolic resources in the immediate future. Turkey isn?t able to meet its demand by domestic energy resources.Electric heating is being used with many constructions. Resistance heating, heat pump and combination of both are important methods used for electric heating applications. A electrical resistance element consists of resistance wire, carrier insulation substance and connection terminal of electric wire and resistance wire. Resistance heating converts electricity into heat in 860 kcal/ kw level. Theoretically, electricity heating is efficient of 100%. 1 calorie heat is gained for each calorie given to heater elements. Eleectroshock heating system has been installed with single-pipe central heating system in hot water manner in laboratory of Department of Mechanical Engineering of Kütahya Dumlupınar University after preliminary investigations made about electrical heating systems. Testing apparatus has been commissioned and heat costs are determined in order to meet heat requirement calculated in the ambient. Operating costs of natural gas central heating boiler have been compared in the same conditions. Its economy has been investigated by various measurements and calculations as from the instalment of the system.
