Elmastraşzade Mustafa Hilmi's second dewan (Text – examination)

The goal is to introduce the second Dewan and gain the Turkish Literatures studies which had been lived inthe 19th century. Elmastraşzade Mustafa Hilmi was a scholar and a poet. His Dewan is composed of 96 pages and it is in the Marmara Üniversities library. The book is in the Nadir Eserler's section, registered under the number T 819.1 HİL . His book is about God's love, Prophet's love, love, music, the passing of this world, broken time, the inadequacy of poets, etc. And similar subjects are found in his Dewan . He is a member of the way of the way of the Kadiri and its signs are taught on the past.Hilmi's poetry is about language , style and literary points of view, it had the signs of the Dewan's poetry. Our work consists of an introduction and 3 chapters. The introduction is composed of Hilmi's life in the 19th centuries social, literary and political conditions. In the first chapter Hilmi's life and literary marks are written.In the second chapter his Dewan is generally analyzed, regarding on its looks, content and language.
