Abstract (EN)
One of the most important sectors for developing countries such as Turkey is the mining sector. The mining sector is known as the riskiest sector in terms of occupational health and safety. Every year, a large number of accidents occur especially in the mining sector in the world. Therefore, the risk assessment method to be selected in terms of analyzing the risks encountered in the sector is extremely important. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the risks in open pits by using Matrix and Fine Kinney methods for the evaluation of the risks in Espey Open Pit Operation in Emet Boron Works Directorate.
