Abstract (EN)

Umayyads have an important place in political and cultural life in the history of Islam. The Umayyads, who belong to a powerful tribe, were a powerful family in the political arena in the pre-Islamic and post-Islamic periods. After the Umayyads became Muslims they were called. He was given different duties by the Prophet and the three caliphs. After the period of Khulafa-yi Raşidin the Umayyads who took over the administration after Hasan handed over the caliphate established the first Islamic state. However, due to the political practices they followed and the rivalry with the Hashemites, they caused many conflicts among Muslims. As a matter of factor the political conflicts in those times were not limited to social conflicts but had reflections on religious sciences and especially on hadith narrations. As a result of such a political conflict, the parties fabricated many narrations for and against. Against the emerging narrations, the hadithists wanted to prevent this fabrication activity by taking some precautions. In this context, our study consists of an introduction and three parts. In the first part, the historical course of the Umayyads and the Umayyad-Hashimi relations are mentioned. In the second part methods of approach to political narrations were tried to be determined. Last episode if the narrations about the Umayyads and the rulers of the Umayyads belonging to the Sufyani branch are examined in terms of the document and text and it is emphasized whether they are authentic or stable.
