Abstract (EN)

Emin Feyzi is an underrecognized poet and intellectual who is out of canon literature in modern Turkish literature. He also had the rank of colonel in the Ottoman army. He was accepted to the Paris International Society of History for his works in the fields of poetry, philosophy and mathematics. Emin Feyzi wrote his autobiography in all details and pointed that he went through sickness, disease, humiliation and sorrow in his life and fate did not make him happy. Despite all these challenges in life, the poet, who had a firm faith as a destinist, always used a grateful language rather than complaining. This study aims to analyze the life, art and works of Emin Feyzi, a poet and scholar, who was born in the Goyje village of Süleymaniye in 1862 and rose to the rank of colonel in the Ottoman army. As the present study is a part of a master՚s thesis, only the poems titled ŞuǾāǾāt and İlāve-i Şu'ā'āt are transcribed, and brief information is presented about the tags of his other works. This thesis consists of three parts following the Introduction. In the first part, there is the poet's life and his perspective of art. In the second part, consists of information about the works of the poet and the introduction of his works are given. The third part there is an examination of the poet's poems in terms of form and content. Finally, in the fourth chapter, the transcription of Şu'ā'āt and Ilave-i Şu'ā'āt takes place.
