Abstract (EN)
Emine Semiye has an important place in literary history as she is one of the first Turkish female writers. She has done many important works in political, social and sociocultural terms and has drawn attention to the female figures of the period. Emine Semiye has been actively involved in the literary world since the Constitutional Era and has received education in this context. The aim of this study is to examine the theme of women and women characters in the works by examining Emine Semiye's novels and stories and to examine the female figure between the author and the works in the context of the novels and stories. The qualitative research method framework of the study was created and was carried out by making use of the contents. The relevant literature was scanned and the data was examined through document analysis. The findings obtained were discussed and presented in the conclusion part of the study.
