State perception on security services: The case of Erzincan province

The Police Department is one of the most important public institutions of today. Whether this department, which provides safety services, changed the perception of the state in the eyes of the citizens, was aimed to be revealed with this study. Indeed, due to Erzincan as selected example of communities has heterogenous social structure and living with the values of peace and brotherhood , is due to the thought of the answers given on a small scale could be identified with Turkey. The perception of the state was measured through the security services of citizens living in Erzincan with a questionnaire created by using the scales of Servperf and Servqual. It has been revealed as a result of the study that the security services positively affect the perception of the state.
