Abstract (EN)

This thesis analyzes the End-to-End Delay of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks for different parameter values. The contributions of MPLS, Traffic Engineering (TE), and Quality of Service (QoS) services to the overall network efficiency and performance are discussed. The effects of different parameters provided by the Reference study on the total End-to-End Delay are analyzed, as well as the effects on the variable and constant delay factors of multimedia data packets (e.g., voice data). In this thesis, the effects of different parameter values on the total End-to-End Delay of our reconfigured network are described in detail through MATLAB simulation and graphical analysis. The study aims to provide results to be used for performance improvement and to provide efficient services in MPLS networks by minimizing delays and traffic optimization with various scenarios. Keywords: MPLS, End-to-End Delay, quality of service (QoS), Traffic Engineering (TE)
