Abstract (EN)

Globalizing world, all countries have to integrate into order brought by Industry 4.0 and new ways of doing businesssurvive and grow of competition. Because if there is no transition to Industry 4.0 components that offer efficient, high quality, cost advantage, agile and fast production, will not to survive competition. Industry 4.0 requires major changes for all sectors, not just sectors that obtain products, especially the service sector. A society 5.0 compliant service sector should be designed and harmonization studies should be carried out. The health sector, like other sectors, gets its share from these changes and developments, and with a rapid change, there is a transition to the use of new technologies. Although the health sector could not integrate into the industry 4.0 process at the expected rate for different reasons, Covid 19 epidemic process in has accelerated technological progress. In this period when countries competed not to be left behind, with the spread of changes in the health sector, innovations and developments began to be experienced in a wide variety of fields, from digital hospitals to online patient care, from robot nurses to robotic surgeries, from creating tissues and organs with 3D printers to the use of nanotechnological products.Being in the first place in health tourism, which has become very important for the country's economies, is one of the priorities of the actors of the Turkish health sector. For this reason, in order not to lag behind the competition in the field of health, our health sector has to quickly implement the changes and innovations required by Industry 4.0. In this context, created, it is aimed to examine in detail the developments by Industry 4.0 in health sector in our country and to analyze the current situation of the sector by applying SWOT analysis. In addition, the current situation of Canada, which has implemented the components of Industry 4.0 very well and has made great progress in the health sector, has been examined with a SWOT analysis, and current health sector Industry 4.0 development processes of both countries, health system development, analysis according to HIMMS data and governments' implementations. It was compared in 4 categories, including smart applications. With this method, it is aimed to reveal the current level of application of the Turkish health sector Industry 4.0 and to reveal what opportunities and threats there are. With the help of a developed model, some suggestions have been tried to be presented to the managers and legislators in the health sector.
