Abstract (EN)

From the agricultural revolution, which is the first revolution in human history, to the Industry 4.0 revolution, all revolutions create significant added value in the development of societies. Industry 4.0 is generally defined as communication between humans and machines, and is mentioned together with the keywords digitalization, big data, augmented reality, the internet of things and automation. In today's world, technological innovations and winds of change have brought about transformation concepts in the context of digitalization and continuity in all areas of life, especially in industrial organizations, and have become a necessity for small, medium and large-scale organizations trying to hold on in this process. The aim of this thesis is to reveal the basic technologies that shape digital transformation, the effects of these technologies on the manufacturing industry and the applications of the digital transformation maturity model and decision-making approach in the manufacturing industry. The results of the study provide a roadmap for developing a digital maturity assessment tool in the manufacturing sector. Considering maturity models within the scope of Industry 4.0 helps businesses integrate these methodologies into their cultures.
