Abstract (EN)
The Fourth Industrial Revolution also called "industry 4.0‟ which was first introduced at the Hannover Fair in Germany in 2011 and is likely to transform all production processes again has made change development and transformation inevitable in the logistic sector which is directly related to all production processes. This transformation has become a remarkable subject among logistics and its stakeholders. Therefore, the vital importance and necessity of the use of new information technologies in the logistic industry has become an indispensable part of logistics in industry 4.0 process. Indeed, the aim of this study is to examine the impact and transformation of new technologies to be used in the logistics processes of the technology-based industry 4.0 revolution. In the first part of the study, reasons, consequences and the areas of influence of industrial revolutions were examined. Second part of this study, how the industrial revolutions affect the logistics industry chronologically from past to present what has changed in logistics technological processes and transformation of logistics information technologies with new logistics technologies in industry 4.0 process are examined. In the application part, TRANS.EU technology company TMS 4.0 (Transport Management System 4.0) examined the digital platform are described in the results section obtained. According to the findings, campanies who are using TRANS.EU TMS 4.0 Dijital Platform gains many advantages. Information and documantations about the companies are securly kept in cloud system and load and equipment systems are kept with trust in between parties. Finally, this digital platform has a strong impact on employment and green logistic.
