Abstract (EN)

Chopping with industrial cutting methods which come up to agenda as new and alternative production methods are used as effective methods in manipulation materials that are hard to process in parallel with the development of industrially designed materials. Generally, manipulation quality of cutting methods are characterised with the change on features of materials and gained surface features. Thus, in this study, it is aimed to evaluate the surface features of widely-industrial Ç1030 and SS 304 materials that have been gained by using the most industrial cutting methods and arising metallurgical changes in those cut materials. Made of SS 304 and Ç1030 materials, examples with a thickness of 5 and 10 mm have been cut at three different cutting speeds as high, medium, low by using cutting methods of Laser, Water Jet, Wire Erosion, Plasma and Oxygen and changes of surface roughness of those gained surfaces have been evaluated. Besides, changes in metallurgic features and hardness variations (HV) of the same materials manipulated by using the methods of Laser, Water Jet, Wire Erosion, Plasma and Oxygen have been evaluated in relation with cutting depth as from the cut surface over micro structural display. When the gained roughness value of surfaces are analysed, Wire Erosion method which has a very sensitive manipulation tolerance, draws attention as being the method having the least roughness value of surfaces in comparison with the other methods. Method of Water Jet is confirmed to be the most efficient cutting method due to not having any cut surface affected by heat when micro structural displays and variations of micro hardness are analysed within the manipulated surface of examples that have been cut with industrial methods.
