Perceived executive support in developing a sense of institutional belonging in industrial institutions

The need for belonging of the individual lies at the basis of the commitment that develops between the organization and the employee. For this reason, feelings of institutional commitment and belonging are psychologically based and do not come about by themselves. There are many factors that affect the establishment of the bond between the company and the employee. One of these is the support provided by the manager to his employee. The employee, who thinks that this support is at the expected level, develops strong ties with the institution. However, if the employee thinks that this support is not at the level he expected, he does not develop a sense of loyalty and belonging to the institution with his disappointment. Employees, who are supported by managers within the organization, begin to develop emotional ties with the organization and see the institution as their family. Employees who receive executive support turn into loyal employees who are loyal to the organization and make great efforts to achieve the goals of the organization. Therefore, the basis is prepared for the formation of an institution integrated with the employees and the formation of a strong institution. In this study, the concepts of corporate belonging and manager support have been tried to be extracted with literature reviews. In the last part of the study, the data were obtained with the questionnaire studies applied to the participants. According to the results of the study, it was determined that there is a strong link between corporate belonging and executive support.
