Investigation of free time children with parents with handicapped children

This research is a quantitative and descriptive study to determine the levels of free time for parents with children with disabilities.In addition, it was tried not to determine whether there is a meaningful difference in the free time attitudes, the gender, the economic level and the children of the disabled children of the disabled children. A total of 250 parents, including 84 fathers and 166 mothers with children with disabilities, participated in the survey.Parents of children with disabilities who were educated in rehabilitation and special education schools in Bartın province were selected using simple coincidental techniques to determine the sample. The three-dimensional "Leisure Attitude Scale" and the "Personal Information Form" developed by Raghep and Beard (1982) as validity and reliability study in Turkish were used by Akgül (2010). The research data were analyzed using the one-way ANOVA, T-test analysis technique and the values of the data were analyzed and the normal distribution was decided.
