Ereğlili Türâbî Divani (Concordance and functional dictionary)

The longest period of Turkish poetry history is the period under the name of "Classical Turkish Literature." If "Kutadgu Bilig" was to be considered as the first work of this period, The Classic Turkish Poetry which has been continued for nine centuries and benefited from various source during this period established a rich sense of meaning. The project of TEBDİZ is aimed at discovering the broadest sense of meaning. The project is supported by Gazi University in Ankara. The opening of the abbreviation of TEBDİZ is in the form of "The Concordance and Functional Dictionary of History/Literature." The project participants aim at creating functional dictionary and making sense of each the words in the texts analyzed within the scope of the project in the context. Each step of the project is carried out with all other studies and records made on the projects general web page. In this study, concordance and functional dictionary were made in the context of the TEBDİZ project of Ereğlili Türâbî Divanı whose translation text was published by Cihan OKUYUCU. Each of the words included in the work mentioned above were interpreted within the scope of the context and records were made on the general web page and tried to present the vocabulary knowledge. Thus, it contributes to holistic concept of meaning in Classical Turkish Poetry.
