Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine and explain the relationship between Self-Perception, Psychological Resilience and Religiosity in Adolescents in terms of some variables. A total of 454 students, 60.4% female and 39.6% male, selected by random sampling method from 308 Anatolian high school students, 128 Imam Hatip High School students studying in Yalova province, and 18 other high school type students were included in the research participated. Self-Concept Scale for Children was used to determine the self-perceptions of the students participating in the research, the "Psychological Resilience Scale for Children and Adolescents" was used to determine their psychological resilience levels, and "Religiosity" scale was used to determine their level of religiosity. A personal information form was applied to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 25.0 program. Descriptive statistical methods (number, percentage, min-max values, mean, and standard deviation) were used when evaluating the data. "Reliability Analysis" was conducted to test the reliability of the scales. The suitability of the data used for normal distribution was tested with kurtosis and skewness values. In comparing quantitative data with normally distributed data, an independent sample t-test was used for the difference between two independent groups, and in comparing more than two independent groups, one-way analysis of variance was applied, and in case of a difference, Bonferroni was used to find the group that made the difference. Pearson correlation was applied to test the relationship between numerical variables. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to investigate the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. As a result of the findings, it was concluded that there was no statistically significant difference between psychological resilience according to gender variable. It was determined that the worship-knowledge scores of male participants were higher than those of female participants. In terms of the averages obtained from the entire religiosity scale, the religiosity levels of boys reached a statistically significant level with those of girls. According to the results obtained from the data, it was found that the psychological resilience of the 13-14 and 15-16 age group was higher than the 17-18 age group. In addition, mother's education level and family structure were found to have a significant difference in the level of psychological resilience. According to the data obtained from the scales, it was found that there was a statistically significant positive, medium-level relationship between psychological resilience and self-perception. It was found that there was a statistically significant positive, low-level relationship between the participants' level of religiosity and self-perception. In addition, it was concluded that there is a statistically significant positive, medium-level relationship between psychological resilience and religiosity.
