Abstract (EN)
Individuals may experience interpersonal difficulties with their parents and friends for various reasons in daily life and may be negatively affected by the conflict situations that arise. Individuals' satisfaction with life has an average value. In other words, individuals are not dissatisfied with the life they have, but the thought that this life is not the life they want in the full sense. This study was conducted to examine the effects of adolescents' negative automatic thoughts on their life satisfaction. The research is a descriptive relational survey pattern. The sample of the study consists of 1066 girls and 661 boys Toplamly 1727 participants randomly selected from high school schools in Şahinbey and Şehitkâmil districts of Gaziantep. Personal Information Form, Multidimensional Student Life Satisfaction and Negative Automatic Thoughts Scale were used as data collection tools in the study. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS 22. 0 (Statistical package for the Social Sciences) package program in computer environment, taking into account the dependent and independent variables. In the study, factors such as age, gender, income, marital status, education, personal characteristics, religion, social interaction and social support were found to be related to life satisfaction. These factors affect the adolescent in terms of quality of life, happiness and morale change. While a pnificant difference was observed in terms of automatic thoughts and variables such as gender, school type, success, friendship, trust and domestic violence; It was determined that there was no pnificant difference in terms of class level, number of siblings, education level of parents, togetherness and income level.
